Job Summary:
CT Technologist position located in an unspecified area. This role involves operating computed tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure patient safety by reducing unnecessary radiation exposure. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in trauma and stroke imaging, with the flexibility to work during daytime shifts on Thursdays through Saturdays, with potential additional hours and on-call duties.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursdays through Saturdays. Additional hours of 4 hours may be mutually agreed upon on another day.
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of experience with trauma and stroke imaging; Associate's Degree or equivalent completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program; current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) and Computed Tomography (CT) certification; current State or District license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation and contrast reactions; competence in scheduling exams and entering correct charge codes.
- Additional Information: On-call availability may be required to cover for team members during PTO or sickness. Candidate must demonstrate technical proficiency in operating CT and radiographic equipment, analyzing body habitus, and utilizing clinical data to produce diagnostic images while minimizing radiation dose.
