Job Summary
The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist position is based in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves performing advanced CT imaging procedures, supporting high-volume and fast-paced environments with a focus on patient safety and quality imaging. The position requires flexibility for various shifts and the ability to work independently.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: ARRT CT or ARRT R certification, BLS certification, valid state license (must be in hand at submission).
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with rotating shift times including day, night, and evening hours. Starting as soon as possible through 01/19/2027.
- Responsibilities: Performing CT scans with abdomen, head, chest, pelvis, and vascular imaging; administering contrast media; ensuring radiation safety; maintaining patient care during imaging procedures; supporting high patient volume and emergency department cases.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE and Toshiba equipment, prior community hospital experience, and knowledge of vascular CTA procedures.
- Additional Information: Technologists may be asked to assist with transport and perform their duties independently in a high-volume, busy department. Candidates must be open to working holidays and may be required to float between units if necessary.
