Job Summary:
Radiologic Technology Specialist in the CT (Computed Tomography) specialty at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-quality CT imaging services, following hospital protocols, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires effective operation of GE VCT and Evo/Evolution scanners with a focus on efficient workflow during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Computed Tomography) certification, licensure in the state of Massachusetts, graduate of an AMA (American Medical Association) approved educational program in Radiological Technology, valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating GE VCT and Evo/Evolution scanners, familiarity with PACS, MedRad injection systems, Powerscribe, and ability to perform quality assurance procedures.
- Additional Information: The role includes preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, quality control, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and performing clerical duties to ensure workflow efficiency. Flexibility to start within specified weeks is required, with willingness to wait for licensing submission.
