Commercial and Residential Painter

Work Horse General Contractors, an established construction company based in Pasadena, TX, is seeking experienced Painters to join our team.

This position involves commercial and residential construction and renovation work at various project locations. Applicants must be able and willing to travel as needed. Company-required travel expenses, including lodging, are covered by Work Horse General Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting on commercial and residential projects
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming
• Apply paint and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Match and apply appropriate finishes for different surfaces and project requirements
• Protect floors, fixtures, equipment, and surrounding work areas
• Perform minor drywall repair, patching, and texture work as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
• Complete work to company and project quality standards
• Work independently and alongside other trades as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional painting experience in commercial and/or residential settings preferred
• Experience with interior and exterior painting
• Experience with surface preparation and finish work
• Experience using brushes, rollers, and paint sprayers
• Drywall repair and texture experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned work
• Must be willing and able to travel for out-of-town projects
• Flexibility to work varying schedules based on project requirements
• Reliable and dependable

Pay & Travel

$20–$25 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skill level.

Company-required travel expenses and lodging are covered for out-of-town projects.
