Cashier - Evening Shift (3pm-12am)

Snap Mart is a neighborhood convenience store and gas station at 245 Main Street in Malden. We're hiring cashiers for the evening shift, 3pm to 12am. Set weekly schedule, so you'll know your shifts in advance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Ring up customers: groceries, lottery, fuel, tobacco

• Check ID on every age-restricted sale

• Restock coolers and shelves, keep the coffee station full

• Clean the store during slower hours

• Count your drawer and close out at the end of your shift

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 18 or older, required by Massachusetts law for tobacco and lottery sales

• Dependable. Showing up on time for your scheduled shifts is the core of this job.

• Comfortable working alongside one other cashier and handling a steady flow of customers

• A reliable way to get home at midnight

• Cashier or retail experience helps, but is not required. We will train you.

DETAILS

• $18.50 per hour to start

• Full-time or part-time; overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours over 40 in a week

• Same shift each week once your schedule is set
