Housekeeper/Day Porter

Non-Exempt

Shifts start at 4am

Weekend availability necessary

Summary: Reports to Executive Housekeeper. Enhances customer experience by keeping facilities in clean and orderly condition. Must report equipment that is in need of repair.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, however, other duties may be assigned.

· Ensure all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards

· Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies

· Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances

· Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience

· Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

• Customer-oriented and friendly

• Prioritization and time management skills

• Working quickly without compromising quality

  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is required to walk and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
