We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, educating patients on exercises and mobility techniques, and documenting patient progress.
Responsibilities- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and mobility techniques.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist patients with functional mobility and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
