Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a long-term care setting. This role requires working primarily the night shift, managing a variable patient-to-nurse ratio, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to ensure the well-being and safety of all patients.

13 Week Contract with the option to extend

3 - 12 hour shifts - 36 hours guaranteed

Every Other Weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and monitor vital signs accurately
• Administer medications and assist with IV therapy
• Perform comprehensive health assessments and document findings
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide basic life support
• Maintain infection control standards and safety protocols
• Utilize electronic health records for documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 1- 2 years of nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Proficiency in patient assessment and medication administration
• Experience with IV therapy and electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
