Job Description
A fabrication and machining shop that builds parts for government and commercial customers is hiring one Fabricator.
This is a fabrication job first. Blueprint reading is the key skill: much of the work is built to military prints, which are more detailed than typical commercial prints.
What you will do:
- Work from detailed blueprints
- Run press brakes and bending rolls
- Fabricate parts to print
What you need:
- Fabrication experience. About 3 years is ideal, but real skill counts more than years.
- Strong blueprint reading
- Press brake and bending roll experience
A plus, not required:
- MIG or TIG welding
- Military-spec welding certification
Schedule: 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, which includes a half hour of overtime every day. Saturday hours are available sometimes.
Pay: $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience. Full time, permanent.
