As a Machinist at EggE Automation USA Inc, you will be responsible for setting up and operating both CNC and manual metalworking machinery to manufacture high-precision parts and assemblies. You will work directly with engineering blueprints, solid models, and technical specifications to produce low-volume, high-mix custom components and prototype parts for our automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities

- Programming & Controls: Load, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) at the machine control or using CAM software.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret detailed engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and CAD models to plan operational steps and tolerances.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect precision parts using standard measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, indicators) to ensure adherence to strict tolerances.
- Materials Handling: Work with a variety of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, tool steel, brass, and engineering plastics.
- Tooling & Workholding: Select proper tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and design or adapt custom jigs/fixtures as needed.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery, keep work areas clean and organized (5S), and strictly adhere to all safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with automation design engineers and assemblers to troubleshoot designs, refine manufacturability, and solve technical issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years of professional machining experience preferred, but open to training the right person with basic high school shop experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, or similar) and manual machines.
- Solid understanding of G-code programming, feeds, speeds, and tooling selection.
- Proficient in reading engineering blueprints and understanding GD&T.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive hand movements.
- Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
