About the Role:
Brighter Tomorrow Behavioral Services in Morristown, NJ is looking for a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of children with autism. Responsibilities:
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct, one-on-one behavioral intervention sessions with children on the autism spectrum
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavioral outcomes during each session
- Support the development of communication, social, and daily living skills in pediatric clients
- Follow individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as prescribed
- Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members to ensure consistent care
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for clients during therapy sessions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow detailed behavioral protocols and maintain accurate data records
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent client attendance
- Must pass a background check and meet any state-required clearances
