Warehouse Forklift Driver

The Warehouse Forklift Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of forklift equipment to support warehouse operations during the day shift. This role focuses on material handling, inventory management, and preparing shipments without the need for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, turrets, and clamps
• Load and unload materials and products
• Handle inventory to maintain accurate stock levels
• Inspect equipment for safety and functionality
• Transport materials within the warehouse efficiently
• Pick orders accurately and prepare them for shipping
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Prepare goods for shipping and receive incoming shipments

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in warehouse operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling
• Basic maintenance skills for equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
