Manufacturing Associate

The Greer Group is hiring Assembly Associates and Machine Operators for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts with a leading automotive manufacturer in Newton, NC for DAUCH, formally known as GKN.

These are temp-to-hire career opportunities in a clean, established manufacturing facility. Training is provided onsite, Saturday overtime is routine!

PAY

$18.00/hour for 1st shift | $19.10/hour on 2nd and 3rd shift

($18.00 base pay + $1.10 shift differential (2nd & 3rd shift))

1ST SHIFT Assembly

Monday - Friday 6:15am-2:30 PM

2ND SHIFT Assembly

Monday - Friday 2:15 PM – 10:30 PM

3RD SHIFT Assembly

Sunday - Thursday 10:15 PM – 6:30 AM

Machine Operator 1st shift

Monday - Friday 6:00 AM-2:15PM

Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Monday - Friday 2:00 PM – 10:15 PM

Machine Operator 3rd Shift

Sunday - Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:15 AM

Depending on your position, you may:

• Assemble automotive components
• Operate production machinery and equipment
• Load, unload, and monitor production equipment
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow established work instructions and production procedures
• Identify and report equipment or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with your team to meet production and quality goals

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to safety and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
• Must meet background screening and drug testing requirements
