POSITION OVERVIEW:

• We are seeking an AI Solutions Developer to help identify, build, integrate, and improve practical, reusable AI tools for use across the company. This hands-on role will work closely with leaders and employees to understand business needs, translate them into useful solutions, and move quickly from idea to tested tool. The ideal candidate is an energetic builder who is comfortable creating reusable AI skills, agents, custom GPTs, and related generative AI solutions; bringing structure to ambiguous executive workflows; learning how construction teams work; and iterating based on testing and user feedback. Success in this role requires curiosity, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to balance speed with quality and responsible use

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Discovery & Prioritization

• Partner with leaders and employees to understand business challenges, workflow pain points, and desired outcomes
• Navigate loosely defined executive workflows and turn conversations, exceptions, and informal practices into clear use cases, tool instructions, user steps, and testable success criteria
• Help assess opportunities based on usefulness, feasibility, implementation effort, and responsible-use considerations

AI Solution Development & Integration:

• Prototype and develop reusable AI skills, agents, custom GPTs, and related tools that can support repeatable workflows rather than isolated one-off requests
• Configure and connect approved AI tools with relevant workflows, information sources, or systems where appropriate
• Test solutions rigorously for accuracy, reliability, usability, permissions, confidentiality, and business-process fit; personally review AI-generated output, document findings, and resolve material issues before release
• Create easy-to-follow documentation covering purpose, instructions, setup, limitations, ownership, troubleshooting, and maintenance so others can support and improve each solution
• Maintain and improve deployed solutions as business needs, available tools, and user feedback evolve

Adoption & Continuous Improvement:

• Gather feedback from users, identify friction, and make focused improvements that increase usefulness and adoption
• Create concise guidance and demonstrations that help employees use approved AI tools effectively
• Share progress, tradeoffs, and recommendations with stakeholders in clear, practical language
• Help define simple measures of value, such as time saved, process quality, user adoption, or reduced rework

Responsible AI Use:

• Follow applicable requirements for data handling, access, confidentiality, human review, and approved technology use
• Identify potential quality, privacy, security, or implementation risks and raise them before a tool is expanded to more users

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to design, build, test, and improve reusable AI skills, agents, custom GPTs, or comparable generative AI solutions—not only one-off tools
• Ability and comfort navigating loosely defined or messy executive workflows and translating them into clear tool instructions, user steps, and practical working solutions
• Strong learning agility and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward rapid prototyping and thoughtful iteration
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical colleagues, ask effective questions, and incorporate feedback
• Strong testing discipline, including evaluating accuracy, permissions, confidentiality, and the quality of AI-generated output through hands-on human review
• Ability to create clear, easy-to-follow documentation so others can use, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve what has been built
• Sound judgment when working with company information, tool access, user permissions, and sensitive workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, construction management, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with commercial construction workflows, terminology, or project teams
• Experience connecting AI tools to business workflows, data sources, or software systems
• A portfolio, prototype, academic project, or other work sample that demonstrates handson AI solution development
