CAT 631 Scraper Operator – Mining

Pay: $30–$35/hour
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Duration: 3 months and up
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Yes
Per Diem: $25/day

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CAT 631 Scraper Operator to support mining and earth-moving operations. The operator will safely operate production scraper equipment to excavate, haul, spread, and grade materials while maintaining productivity and following all mine safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CAT 631 scraper equipment for excavation, hauling, and grading.
• Load, haul, spread, and place materials according to project and production requirements.
• Maintain safe and efficient production throughout the shift.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all mine safety regulations, procedures, and site-specific requirements.
• Communicate with other equipment operators and site personnel.
• Maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
• Work safely and efficiently in an active mining environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating CAT 631 scraper equipment.
• Experience with production scrapers, earthmoving, excavation, mass grading, or heavy civil work.
• Experience operating comparable scrapers such as CAT 627, 637, 657, or similar equipment may be considered.
• MSHA mining certification preferred.
• Knowledge of safe heavy equipment operation and mining/earth-moving practices.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections.
• Ability to work the scheduled Monday–Friday shift and overtime as needed.
• All standard PPE required.
