Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid Work Schedule)

About The Opportunity
A leading international legal organization is seeking a polished and highly experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support the Chairman. This position will provide high-level administrative and executive support, including complex calendar management, domestic and international travel coordination, meeting logistics, correspondence, and confidential matters. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and accustomed to supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced professional environment requiring exceptional discretion, judgment, and professionalism.
Responsibilities For Senior Executive Assistant
- Provide high-level executive support to the Chairman, serving as a trusted resource and primary point of contact
- Manage a complex and frequently changing calendar, coordinating internal and external meetings, client engagements, leadership meetings, and other high-priority commitments
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and last-minute changes
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and competing priorities, proactively identifying solutions and ensuring the Chairman is prepared for upcoming commitments
- Coordinate high-level meetings, conferences, client engagements, dinners, and firm events, managing all related scheduling and logistical details
- Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, presentations, briefing materials, reports, and other executive-level documents while maintaining confidential files and information
- Serve as a professional liaison between the Chairman and attorneys, clients, firm leadership, and other internal and external stakeholders while managing follow-up items, special projects, expenses, and other administrative priorities
Qualifications For Senior Executive Assistant:
- 7+ years of executive assistant or senior administrative experience, preferably supporting a Chairman, CEO, Managing Partner, law firm partner, or other senior executive
- Experience supporting senior leadership within a law firm, financial services firm, consulting organization, or other sophisticated professional environment is highly desirable
- Exceptional calendar management skills with experience managing complex and frequently changing schedules and competing priorities
- Strong experience coordinating domestic and international travel, detailed itineraries, high-level meetings, and executive engagements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and edit polished executive-level correspondence and materials
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, exercise independent judgment, and manage sensitive and time-critical matters with discretion
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
