Xray Tech

The Xray Tech will operate digital X-ray equipment within a hospital radiology department, primarily serving a mixed patient population. This role involves preparing patients, capturing high-quality X-ray images, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining equipment to support diagnostic accuracy and patient care.

13 Week Contract with the option to extend

Night 3x10-Hour (22:00 - 08:30) Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for X-ray imaging procedures
• Operate digital X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Position patients accurately for optimal imaging
• Ensure radiation protection and safety compliance for patients and staff
• Analyze images for quality and accuracy
• Maintain detailed records of procedures and patient information
• Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance to ensure functionality

Qualifications

• 1+ years in radiologic technology
• Certificate in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Certification
• State Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques and patient care
• Expertise in radiation safety and image processing
• Strong anatomy knowledge
• Attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
