About the Role:
Hyatt Place St. Paul is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to lead our guest services team in the heart of Saint Paul, MN. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support front desk agents to ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out experiences
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a service-first mindset
- Train, coach, and motivate front desk staff to uphold Hyatt brand standards
- Manage room assignments, reservations, and inventory using property management systems (PMS)
- Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, and end-of-shift reporting
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, responding to any on-property issues or emergencies
Requirements:
- 1+ years of front desk or guest services experience in a hotel environment
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS); Opera or similar preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree a plus
