Position Overview

Dynamic Metal Services is a Cleveland-based metal processing and recycling company specializing in stainless steel, high-value metals, and specialty alloys.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support laboratory testing, chemical analysis, and material evaluation operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their laboratory career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in an industrial laboratory environment.

Previous laboratory experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for someone who has a basic understanding of chemistry, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal and material samples for laboratory testing and analysis.
• Operate laboratory instrumentation, including ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma–Optical Emission Spectrometry) equipment.
• Operate Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption equipment.
• Assist with chemical testing and analysis of metal and material samples.
• Prepare standards, solutions, and reagents as directed.
• Follow established testing methods, written procedures, and laboratory protocols.
• Accurately record, document, and maintain laboratory test results.
• Maintain organized laboratory records and testing documentation.
• Handle samples carefully to help maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the testing process.
• Support general laboratory organization and day-to-day testing activities.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of chemistry and laboratory principles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Ability to follow written testing methods, procedures, and instructions.
• Comfortable learning and operating laboratory instrumentation.
• Dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
• Previous laboratory, chemistry, quality control, or materials testing experience is helpful but not required.
• Recent graduates and entry-level candidates with relevant chemistry or laboratory education are encouraged to apply.
