Shuttle Driver

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week/Weekends off

Position Summary

Chuck’s Automotive repair Inc. is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Shop Support Specialist to assist our team with daily operations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining shop organization, and supporting technicians and advisors with various tasks throughout the day.

Primary Responsibilities

Customer Transportation

• Safely transport customers to and from their homes, workplaces, or other local destinations.

• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing the company.

• Keep shuttle vehicle clean, fueled, and presentable.

Quality Control (QC) Process

• Perform post-repair quality control inspections following company procedures.

• Verify completed repairs meet company standards.

• Confirm vehicle cleanliness and readiness before customer delivery.

• Report any concerns or discrepancies to management immediately.

Parts & Supply Management

• Pick up and deliver automotive parts from vendors as needed.

• Verify parts received are correct and undamaged.

• Assist with organizing and stocking inventory and supplies.

• Return incorrect or warranty parts when necessary.

Facility Maintenance & Shop Appearance

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, parking lot, customer waiting area, and restrooms.

• Empty trash, sweep floors, and assist with general housekeeping tasks.

• Help ensure a safe and professional work environment at all times.

Team Support

• Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with daily operational needs.

• Move vehicles safely around the facility.

• Help prepare vehicles for customer delivery.

• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing materials.

• Support special projects and seasonal shop needs.

• Perform basic administrative or clerical tasks as assigned.

Customer Service

• Greet customers professionally when needed.

• Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out processes.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.

• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to safely operate various vehicle types.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.

• Previous automotive or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
