Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians in Ocean or Monmouth Counties in NJ to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with children and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism, to deliver high-quality behavioral therapy. The Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other clinical staff.
- Conduct behavioral assessments and collect data to inform treatment decisions.
- Utilize ABA principles to teach new skills, reduce problem behaviors, and increase adaptive behaviors.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including medical documentation and HIPAA-compliant patient care.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient care and support in a variety of settings, including home and community environments.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in ABA and patient care.

Requirements

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to work effectively with children and adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Type- Part-time Contractor

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• After school
• Weekends as needed
