We are a locally owned and operated Amazon Delivery Service Partner building our team for our September 29 launch in Plainfield, Connecticut. This is an opportunity to join from the beginning and grow with our business.

9-Hour Performance Incentive available for eligible drivers

Eligible Delivery Associates who safely complete their assigned work and meet FARD's attendance, safety, quality, and performance requirements may receive additional incentive pay designed to provide compensation equivalent to up to 9 hours for the day when their assigned work is completed in less time. Eligibility requirements apply. Actual route duration and finish times are not guaranteed.

Location and schedule

Your workday begins and ends at Amazon delivery station DCY2, located at 137 Lathrop Rd, Plainfield, CT 06374.

Expected hours are approximately 36–45 per week. Shifts are planned for approximately 10 hours. Actual hours and finish times vary based on route assignments, delivery conditions, and completion of all assigned duties.

What do Delivery Drivers do

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle, following traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Load, organize, and unload packages assigned to your route.
• Use a mobile device for navigation, delivery instructions, and delivery updates.
• Deliver packages to homes and businesses with care and professionalism.
• Use safe lifting and package-handling practices.
• Get in and out of the vehicle frequently, walk, and use stairs throughout your shift.
• Work safely in changing weather and road conditions.
• Keep your vehicle clean and organized, and promptly report safety concerns or delivery issues.
• Work independently while communicating with and supporting your team.
  

What you’ll need

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• No CDL required
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs
• Be able to safely operate a delivery vehicle
• Be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Be comfortable with frequent walking, stairs, bending, lifting, and entering/exiting a vehicle throughout the shift
  

Previous Amazon DSP delivery driver, courier, warehouse, customer service, or delivery experience can be helpful, but it is not required.
