Warehouse Coordinator - Part- Time

Orange, CA

Reports To: Operations Manager

Tues. - Thurs

8:00am – 4:00pm

$17.00 - $22.00/hour


Our client is an established auto parts provider and has an immediate opening for a Part- time Warehouse Coordinator position.

Hours: Part time, Tuesday through Thursday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm (hours negotiable). Possible change to full time in near future if desired.


Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized, reliable, and highly autonomous Warehouse Coordinator to work in our shipping, receiving, and overall warehouse operations. In this solo role, under the direction of the Operations Manager, you will take operational ownership of our warehouse space. You will handle everything from the receiving of goods, to inventory tracking and documentation. Position Requirements/Responsibilities/Information:

Outbound Logistics

1.

Experienced at identifying and pulling parts for orders from warehouse locations on a pick sheet. Automotive parts knowledge a very strong plus. Car enthusiasts encouraged to apply.

2.

Experienced at packaging/boxing orders of varying sizes and shapes for shipment, ranging from small envelopes to 72” boxes, and staging them efficiently for carrier pickups.

3.

Experienced at shipping Domestic & International packages through the FedEx Shipment Manager Software, UPS software, and USPS (Stamps/Endicia) software (or similar shipping software experience) to process orders to customers and create shipping labels/documents.

4.

Experience at generating Bills of Lading, and International customs paperwork accurately.

Inbound Logistics

5.

Experienced at receiving product deliveries, identifying products, inspecting for defects, receiving them in a computer system, and stocking the warehouse.

6.

Vendor Coordination: Communicate directly with freight carriers and couriers to schedule pickups and resolve delivery discrepancies.

General Requirements

7.

Ability to lift, push, and pull 25-50lbs regularly, and sometimes up to 70lbs. Some item locations require climbing a ladder or kneeling/crouching. Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor for extended periods (Note: Per Agency, lifting 50lbs and climbing ladders is not allowed during temporary hiring period).

8.

Experience at taking care of a warehouse completely: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse layout to maximize space and efficiency. Monitor stock levels, perform regular cycle counts, and keep Monitor stock levels, perform regular cycle counts, and keep our inventory management software accurate.

Requires good computer skills, including keyboarding by touch at decent speeds (subjective, will test, if typing speed/10key by touch ability is known, include in data).

10.

Flexibility to assume other responsibilities as required by Operations Manager, including, but not limited to, computer entry, kit building, part assemblies, parts disassembly and cleaning, and product packaging/wrapping.

11.

Research when needed for international product codes, shipping supplies, and more.

12.

Must be fluent in English.

13.

Independence: Proven ability to manage time effectively and work productively without direct supervision.

14.

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in counting inventory, pulling orders, computer input, and reviewing documentation.

15.
