Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with structural heart experience for a 13-week day shift assignment in a busy cardiac cath lab.
Details
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 6-8 workdays per month, including 4-5 weekdays and 1 weekend
- Unit includes 3 cath lab procedure rooms and 1 dedicated EP lab
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Average caseload of 3 cases per room
- Procedures include cardiac cath and intervention, structural heart (TAVR/Mitraclip/Watchman), peripheral vascular angiography and intervention, EP ablations, and device implants
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in Cath Lab, Structural Heart, and EP required
- BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, Fluoro Permit required; CA CRT license required if applicable
- Structural heart experience required
- Proficiency in surgery/C-Arm procedures, scrubbing, PACS, and fluoroscopy studies required
- Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, and peripheral upper/lower extremity vascular/venous studies required
- Active California license required for consideration
- References and required certifications must be provided for consideration

- RTO must be submitted prior to start of contract
- Advanced EKG exam required prior to start, with two attempts allowed and a minimum 80% passing score
- Additional clinical/non-clinical training modules required prior to start, varying by specialty
