Cath Lab Tech - Contract

 

Location: Charleston, WV
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12-Hour, Day – 8:30 AM–8:30 PM
Start Date: October 12, 2026

 

Duties :
The Cath Lab Technologist will work in a busy cardiac catheterization lab supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include equipment setup, scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field, room circulation, assisting with cardiac procedures, recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias, and following infection control and sterile technique standards. Candidates must be experienced in both diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures, including structural cardiology.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 3 year of Cath Lab experience; strong Cath Lab experience required
  • Must be experienced in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including structural cardiology
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • ARRT(BD) and ARRT(R) required
  • Active WV license required to start; pending WV license may be accepted for submission
  • Cerner experience required
  • Experience with procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, CTO, Impella, IABP, ECMO, TPM, IVUS, TAVR, Watchman and related Cath Lab procedures
  • Must be willing to participate in call requirements and weekend coverage
  • Must be willing to stay until all cases are completed
  • RCIS and RCES candidates are not eligible because WV does not recognize these credentials as sufficient licensure for Cath Lab work

     

Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates 75–100 miles away may be considered for facility approval
