Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed hours per week, 91-day assignment through January 16, 2027
Highlights:
- Travel Physical Therapist Assistant opportunity in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Work with residents experiencing temporary or long-term disabilities to restore function and promote healing
- Deliver patient-centered care while monitoring treatment response and documenting progress
- Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to provide clinical support and education
Requirements:
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
- Valid state licensure or certification with online verification
- Preferred post-graduate experience in skilled nursing facility settings
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication skills with empathy and patience when working with patients
- Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises
