Process Engineer - Full-time

LockLeed International is recruiting a Process Engineer for an electronics manufacturer in Northfield. This is a full-time, direct hire role with the client, paying $80,000 to $100,000 a year. It's an early-career role in circuit assembly, reporting to the Process Engineering Manager.

What you'll do

• Own and back up a small number of manufacturing processes
• Support operations with process, equipment, instruction, material and part number issues
• Own daily root cause analysis on failures, with corrective and preventive actions
• Document SOPs, control plans, risk mitigations and EHS requirements, ideally with photo and video instructions
• Write assembly instructions, run small projects and join cross-functional improvements
• Support audits and customer visits, with occasional evening and weekend phone support

What you need

• Bachelor of Science in manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, electrical or industrial engineering, or similar
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Minitab, plus SPC, Lean, Theory of Constraints or cell manufacturing experience
• Strong Microsoft Office and technical writing skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving and clear communication
• Travel up to 5%
