About the Job
Join a growing mattress manufacturing team producing high-quality products in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment. This is a physically demanding position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, using tools, staying active throughout the shift, and being part of a production team.
We are looking for dependable candidates with a positive attitude, strong work history, and experience in hands-on environments such as manufacturing, construction, framing, insulation, fabrication, or similar work.
What You'll Do
- Assemble mattresses by following detailed work instructions and established production processes.
- Use pneumatic/compressed-air tools and hand tools, including c-ring guns, staple guns, and hot glue guns.
- Build and handle HMB units and foam-encased pocketed coil units.
- Apply upholstery layers and other materials during the production process.
- Stage and handle materials throughout the production area.
- Package finished mattresses for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work as part of a team while maintaining production pace and quality standards.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately in English.
- Perform repetitive hands-on tasks throughout the shift.
What We're Looking For
- Physically fit and comfortable with a very physical job.
- Comfortable standing and walking for 8+ hours per shift, including overtime.
- Able to lift up to 120 lbs. multiple times throughout the shift, with assistance when appropriate.
- Experience using compressed-air/pneumatic tools is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, framing, insulation, fabrication, assembly, or another hands-on trade is strongly preferred.
- Positive attitude and great personality — teamwork and attitude are important.
- Able to learn new processes and follow detailed instructions.
- Reliable and committed to consistent attendance.
- Own vehicle and reliable transportation required. No Public Transportation.
- Candidates should understand the physical requirements, schedule, and expectations of the position before interviewing.
- Looking for candidates interested in long-term employment and stability.
Shipping / Forklift Position
1st Shift — $20.00/hr.
- Stand-up forklift experience required.
- Candidates will initially train on the production floor for approximately one month before operating a forklift.
- Must be comfortable with the same physical demands and production environment as the assembler position.
- Must be able to safely move and stage materials and assist with shipping responsibilities.
- Reliable transportation is required due to the schedule and potential overtime.
Please note: Pre-Employment Screening: A conditional offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
