Building Engineer

The Build Engineer plays a vital role in managing and optimizing build processes within an industrial warehouse setting. This standalone position, part of the Facilities Team, ensures smooth operations through comprehensive documentation and diligent troubleshooting. The role includes facility management, regular vendor coordination without travel, and maintaining compliance with OSHA safety regulations to uphold operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update comprehensive build process documentation using standard tools like MS Office
• Troubleshoot build-related issues to ensure uninterrupted warehouse facility builds
• Conduct daily inspections to monitor facility condition and safety
• Oversee facility management activities within the industrial warehouse
• Coordinate regularly with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery without the need for travel
• Ensure safety compliance aligned with OSHA regulations and workplace standards
• Pass federal background check and maintain US citizenship status

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or as a building engineer
• OSHA Certification
• Experience in vendor management and facility operations
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation management skills
• Understanding of workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
