Pool Technician – Seasonal

Position Overview

As a Pool Technician with Millennial Pools, you’ll play an essential role in keeping commercial pool facilities clean, safe, and properly maintained throughout the summer season. Pool Technicians are responsible for servicing approximately 10–15 pool facilities while providing reliable, high-quality service to our clients.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position that is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Offseason Training Seminars – Get a Head Start on the 2027 Season

Want to join our team for the 2027 pool season? We host hands-on training seminars on several dates during the offseason. They're your chance to meet our technician development managers in person, learn how we work, and show us how you fit in at Millennial Pool Management!

The seminars are part of our hiring process. They let us get to know applicants face-to-face and see how you handle real pool tech work before we assign field routes. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and get your hands dirty.

Available dates:

Oct. 3rd 10 A.M.-4 P.M.

Oct. 24th 10 A.M.-4 P.M.

Nov. 21st 10 A.M.-4 P.M.

Dec. 19th 10 A.M.-4 P.M.

Requirements/ Daily Routine on the Job:

• Service and oversee the maintenance of 10–15 commercial pool facilities
• Vacuum and clean pool areas
• Test and balance pool chemicals
• Monitor and maintain pumps, filtration systems, and other pool equipment
• Identify and report maintenance or equipment issues
• Maintain accurate service records
• Follow company safety and pool-maintenance procedures
• Provide professional and courteous service at each facility

Schedule & Compensation

Preseason

March 1st-Memorial Day

• 3-7 days a week
• Opening pool covers, moving furniture, deep pool cleaning and starting up pool equipment
• 18/hour starting

Open Pool Season

Memorial Day – Labor Day

• 5 days per week
• 9 A.M. - 5 P.M. on call during mandatory workdays
• Flexibility on daily morning starting time
• 10 Vacation days maximum
• Full-time seasonal position
• Schedule is mandatory during the open pool season
• $2,000–$5,000 per month
• Commission opportunities available
• Opportunities for additional bonuses and pay increases

Closing Season

September 3 – October 31

• 3–7 days per week
• Optional seasonal work
• $18/hour starting

Position Details

Summer Compensation: $2,000–$5,000 per month + commission
Closing Season Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Day Shift mandatory
Work Location: On the road / Multiple commercial pool facilities
Experience: No prior pool experience required – training provided
