Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Production Assembly: Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on complex electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies.
- Drawing Navigation: Work directly from engineering diagrams, technical drawings, and initial layouts.
- Quality: Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work, perform quality inspections.
- Re-Work: Disassemble, modify, re-work, re-assemble, and test assemblies under simulated conditions.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification: Active IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
- Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in hand soldering or assembling electronic components within a manufacturing setting.
- Soft Skills: Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and communicate effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Experience: 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- Expert Soldering: 5+ years of experience in hand soldering, including inspection, complex re-work/repair, and utilizing various specialized soldering tools and equipment.
- Technical: Advanced ability to understand, interpret, and attention to detail to technical documents on electro-mechanical work.
- Software Skills: Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Hazard Work: Willingness to be trained to work on explosive assemblies.
