Assistant Director of Nursing

**Starting at $85,000 annually **

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team! You will be responsible to assist the director of nursing including the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. We are only 32 beds so this is a wonderful opportunity to build your confidence in administrative nursing in a very manageable environment, being so small. Our current director will be a welcomed training piece and resource for our new ADNS to grow in their supervision of long term and rehabilitative nursing care. We also partner with clinical consultants that will also play a vital role in preparing our new candidate to eventually run our nursing department.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
