Pay Rate: $18/hour

Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Assembler to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This position will perform product assembly, inspection, testing, packaging, labeling, and basic equipment operation while following established procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions, operating procedures, and safety guidelines to meet daily production requirements.
• Operate basic production equipment and tools as needed.
• Assemble, package, and label products according to specifications.
• Complete production records and required documentation accurately.
• Perform in-process and finished product inspections, including dimensional and cosmetic checks.
• Identify and report quality issues or production concerns.
• Perform basic rework when necessary to bring products into specification.
• Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance as needed.
• Work with other production areas to help resolve quality or process issues.
• Cross-train in other production areas and provide support as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving production processes.
• Perform other related duties based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience using scales is a plus.
• Basic mechanical ability.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for workplace and safety requirements.

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment with the ability to work in both seated and standing positions.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling, assembling, and manipulating materials and components.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms and walk throughout the work area as needed.
• Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
• Safety glasses or appropriate corrective safety eyewear are required.
• May occasionally be exposed to moving machinery, airborne particles, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
