Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT CT/R certification.

Details

• Short term acute care hospital setting with 109 staffed beds
• Adult acute care and adult outpatient work settings
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Block schedule required, including Sa/Su/M 2:00 PM-10:30 PM plus two additional 8-hour variable shifts weekly
• Weekends required (Sa/Su 2:00 PM-10:30 PM)
• On-call required 2-4 nights per month
• Two consecutive days off each week
• No floating between units required, though floating between sister facilities nearby may be expected
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging equipment and PACS system
• Performs CT scans of abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), with and without contrast
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and peripheral IV starts
• Age-specific competency across neonate through older adult populations
• Valid state license required (compact license must be in hand at time of submission); license required if applicable
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or registry/per-diem staff, including location and dates
• Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Minimal RTO accommodated; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Scrubs of any color permitted, with scrubs provided for OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child units
• No parking fees at this facility
