Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience in CT imaging across pediatric through geriatric populations for a night shift assignment.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment on night shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
- Work in Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and ICU settings within a Level I Trauma facility
- Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients; NICU and PICU experience preferred
- Perform CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, and head with and without contrast
- Special procedures may include biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies, vascular CTA, and calcium scoring/cardiac CT
- Utilizes GE and Siemens equipment with PACS system
- Travelers may be floated to any campus within the health system as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
- BLS and ARRT CT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required
- Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and ICU experience required
- PACS and contrast administration experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Experience starting peripheral IVs and performing biopsies preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Must complete a pass/fail EKG compliance exam with up to two attempts allowed
- Non-billable orientation modules averaging 2-4 hours are required and vary by unit
- RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
