Schedule/Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 days/week | 36 hours/week
Compensation: $33.00–$54.45/hour, plus applicable shift differentials
Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg to provide safe, competent, and patient-centered nursing care in a hospital setting. The Clinical Nurse will coordinate and deliver care using the nursing process while collaborating with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and competent nursing care for patients with complex needs.
- Assess patient needs, develop and revise care plans, and monitor patient outcomes.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to promote continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education and support discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Ability to provide safe, competent patient care in a hospital/MedSurg environment.
Required License/Certification
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
- NIHSS.
- CPI-A.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Current 2+ years of Med Surg experience is highly preferred for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Charge Nurse experience is highly preferred.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-care skills.
Benefits
- Applicable shift differentials:
- Night: $6.00/hour
- Weekend: $10.00/hour
- Holiday: 50% of base rate
- Relocation incentive may be available based on mileage and a 2-year commitment.
