Compost Site Manager
Location: Smithville, OH
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM
Pay: Based on Experience (BOE)

A growing landscaping company in Smithville is seeking an experienced and dependable Compost Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of its compost department. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for keeping the site organized, safe, productive, and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the compost site and department.
Coordinate employees, workflow, materials, and daily tasks.
Operate equipment such as wheel loaders, sifters, and scales as needed.
Monitor compost materials and ensure the site remains organized and maintained.
Perform basic equipment maintenance and coordinate servicing when needed.
Operate a dump truck and make deliveries as needed.
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure employees follow company procedures.
Help identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Communicate with management regarding site needs, equipment, materials, and staffing.
Perform other duties as needed to support the landscaping operation.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in site management, operations, landscaping, construction, agriculture, or a related field.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience operating heavy equipment, particularly wheel loaders, is preferred.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
