Home Health Aides (HHA) Supervisor

Oneida Center is looking to hire an HHA Supervisor to oversee the HHA team in our Assisted Living program.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support HHA staff and help ensure proper staffing and coverage.

• Monitor HHA performance and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback as needed.

• Help ensure HHA's follow facility policies, procedures, and care plans.

• Monitor the quality of care provided to residents and report concerns to the appropriate department.

• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and coverage needs.

• Communicate with nursing and administration regarding resident and staff concerns.

• Assist with training and orientation of new HHA employees.

• Address employee questions and concerns and escalate issues when needed.

• Help maintain accurate documentation and records.

• Assist with addressing attendance, performance, and other employee issues.

• Promote a positive and professional work environment.

• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

• Follow all applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar healthcare support role.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.

• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, professional, and compassionate.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• HHA certification or other applicable certification required, based on state and facility requirements.
