About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. As an Occupational Therapist at Ranch House Senior Living, you will play a vital role in helping our residents recover from illness, injury, or surgery, and regain independence in their daily lives. Your expertise will be focused on promoting functional abilities, addressing cognitive and physical deficits, and enhancing overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and develop individualized treatment plans

• Design and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve residents' functional abilities and independence

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate discharge planning

• Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers to promote safe and effective use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and treatment outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Kansas

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings (may vary depending on state-specific requirements)
