Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Jr. Technical Services Packaging Scientist to support packaging technology, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will focus on implementing technical solutions that meet customer needs, business objectives, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The selected candidate will support cross-functional projects, troubleshoot packaging process issues, and contribute to the development and implementation of short- and long-term technical solutions. Responsibilities will include supporting new product introductions, existing packaging process changes, process improvements, and qualification and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of packaging processes and technologies for new products and modifications to existing packaging processes.
• Identify and implement packaging process improvements to enhance operational performance and efficiency.
• Develop and execute qualification and validation protocols.
• Prepare qualification and validation reports, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Develop and maintain packaging specifications.
• Support regulatory audit readiness and ensure timely completion of commitments resulting from audit activities.
• Assist with the timely completion of action items related to packaging technology transfers for consumer products.
• Support Change Control activities and Bill of Materials (BOM) generation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address packaging process challenges and ensure project objectives are achieved.

Qualifications and Skills

• Background in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of packaging processes and technologies.
• Understanding of qualification and validation protocols and documentation.
• Familiarity with Change Control and Bill of Materials (BOM) processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards.
