Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and help them regain independence in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs.

• Select therapeutic activities designed to promote independence in daily living activities.

• Monitor and assist residents as they participate in assigned therapeutic activities.

• Assess resident progress, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare comprehensive reports.

• Provide rehabilitation services to residents affected by injury, illness, or other conditions.

• Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure the secure handling of resident information.

• Audit records to ensure accurate documentation of resident care and services.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality resident care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Florida.

• At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
