Assembler – 1st Shift
PAYRATE - $20/hr
Armada Staffing Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assembler to join a manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, following technical instructions, and building quality products.
If you have experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, or production, this could be a great opportunity to put those skills to work.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble parts, components, and subassemblies according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Position and align components manually or using hoists and other equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble products
- Inspect parts and materials for quality and proper fit
- Test completed products for defects and identify issues
- Maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools
- Maintain and properly care for tools and equipment
- Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and production instructions
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Work independently with minimal supervision when needed
- Perform other duties within your skill set as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, electrical, or related experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organization and time-management abilities
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position. Candidates must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, crouch, kneel, and work in awkward positions
- Climb ladders and access tight or confined work areas
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
