Community Driver / Full Time / PRN

Sonnet Hill Senior Living, located in San Jose, CA is seeking a friendly and responsible Bus Driver to provide transportation to our wonderful residents and support our life enrichment program.

Responsibilities of the Bus Driver

• Transport residents to and from appointments.
• Provide transportation and assist with outside community activities as needed.
• Adheres to safety measures when transporting and assisting residents on and off the community vehicle.
• Monitor the community vehicle’s performance and ensure proper maintenance is performed as required.
• Keeps vehicle safe, clean, and free of clutter.
• Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually. 

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and documentation.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Minimum one (1) year transportation or driving experience preferred.
• Current and valid state driver’s license; CDL preferred if required by the community.
• Driving record must be in good standing, free of moving violations, and acceptable to the insurance carrier.

Job Type

• Full Time
• PRN / As Needed.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
