Lead Pharmacy Technician-Prepacking

Overview

NaphCare  has an excellent opportunity for a  Lead Pharmacy Technician- Prepacking to join our  Corporate Headquarters  in  Birmingham, Al.

The Lead Pharmacy Technician-Prepacking shall be responsible for the following in addition to normal Prepack Technician Duties:

·         Being the primary point of contact/liaison for pre-pack questions or concerns from other areas

·         Preparing the daily duty schedule for other pre-pack technicians

·         Managing the repacking process

·         Training of other technicians on equipment and processes

·         Keeping the shelves stocked

·         Moving bulk product from the warehouse to the pre-pack staging area for pre-packing

·         Helping to track production for the repacking process

·         Managing technicians to stay focused between job assignments

·         Keeping the packing area clean and orderly

·         Making sure pre-pack areas are scanned monthly for date product/cards

Position  Requirements:

·     Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.

·     Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or related field such as wholesale, drug, or medical supply distribution.

·     Active registration as a technician with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.

·     PTCB certification is a plus.
