Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an acute care setting with approximately 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient responsibilities.
• Perform assigned clinical duties during day shifts, Tuesday through Saturday.
• Provide inpatient care on Saturdays; Saturday workload is typically around 2.5 hours.
• Assess patients and provide appropriate care according to department and hospital protocols.
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and patient-care standards.
• Be prepared to float first to other appropriate areas as required.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with patients and the healthcare team

Requirements BLS certification required. Active professional license required for submission; facility is willing to wait for the license. Experience in an acute care setting preferred. Cerner experience is preferred. Must be available for Tuesday–Saturday day shift. Shift: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch. Must be willing to work every other weekend (EOW). Must be willing to float first as required. BSN is not required. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week. Dress code: Solid-color polo with black pants. Trauma level: CAH. Must comply with the facility's cancellation policy
