Human Resources Staffer - Now Hiring

Glens Falls, NY | Full-Time | Healthcare

A healthcare facility in the Glens Falls area is looking for a Human Resources Staffer to help support the day-to-day employee experience and keep HR operations running smoothly.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and handling a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role

You will work closely with facility leadership, employees, Payroll, Benefits, and other departments to support the facility's HR needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing employee timecards and helping resolve payroll issues

• Assisting employees with benefit-related questions and coordinating with the Benefits team

• Supporting the onboarding process for new employees

• Completing and tracking required background checks, reference checks, license verifications, and other employment requirements

• Recruiting for open positions and helping identify staffing needs

• Reviewing applicants, conducting candidate screens, and participating in interviews

• Maintaining accurate employee and HR records

• Attending facility meetings and assisting with HR-related projects

• Handling additional responsibilities as needed to support the facility

What You Bring

• Previous HR, recruiting, staffing, or related experience

• Knowledge of basic HR practices and employee administration

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organization and attention to detail

• Good judgment and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment

• HR education or a degree in Human Resources is a plus
