Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Austin, TX 78721

Pay Rate: $33/hour

Contract Duration: Minimum 3 months

Schedule: Monday–Friday

• 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, or
• 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
• No 12-hour shifts available

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to provide technical and clerical support in a healthcare/pharmacy setting. The role will involve medication preparation, inventory management, medication delivery, inspections, and other pharmacy-related duties.

• Manage pharmacy and medication inventory.
• Prepare medications for pharmacist verification.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Conduct medication area inspections.
• Perform technical and clerical pharmacy support duties.
• Assist with manual and automated medication repackaging.
• Follow applicable facility, state, and regulatory policies and professional standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work.
• Ability to maintain active Texas Pharmacy Technician registration throughout the assignment.
• Pyxis MedStation experience preferred.
• Medication room inspection experience preferred.
• Manual and automated medication repackaging experience preferred.
