Food Service Director
Full-Time | $25 per hour

Our skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Food Service Director to oversee daily food service operations and help ensure residents receive nutritious, appetizing meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee food preparation, meal service, and kitchen operations

• Develop menus that meet residents' nutritional and dietary needs, including diabetic, low-sodium, and modified-texture diets

• Lead, train, schedule, and support dietary staff

• Manage food inventory, ordering, and food costs

• Ensure compliance with state and federal food safety, sanitation, and infection control requirements

• Promote a positive dining experience that supports resident dignity and satisfaction

• Address resident feedback and concerns regarding meals and service

Requirements:

• Previous food service management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting

• SafeServ Certification required

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
