Job Summary
X-ray Technologist in a Level II Trauma Center located in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves independently performing routine and complex X-ray exams, assisting with fluoroscopy procedures, and providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to float between units as needed.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Education Requirements: Not specified
- Location Requirements: Valid state license in hand, compact license acceptable
- Years of Experience: At least 1 year of experience in radiologic technology
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027
- Responsibilities include independently performing routine and complex X-ray exams, assisting with fluoroscopy procedures, and delivering excellent patient care.
- Candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Previous experience in trauma or acute care settings is preferred.
- Candidates should be able to float between units; travel experience is not specified.
- Candidates must be able to meet the clinical requirements related to imaging multiple body parts including abdomen, chest, spine, extremities, and neonatal imaging as needed.
- Submission requires two references covering 1 year of work within the last 3 years and the candidate's response to ongoing participation and previous experience at Providence facilities, if applicable.
