Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00), 40 hours per week. No on-call or weekend requirements. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.
Highlights:
- Work in a 379-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation
- Perform routine and complex X-ray examinations and assist with fluoroscopy procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Image up to 30 patients per day across various units with floating between departments
- Gain valuable experience in emergency department, ICU, and trauma imaging
- Free parking available in designated employee/visitor surface lots
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
Requirements:
- Active Texas state license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience required
- Experience in acute care environment required; Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Strong patient care and communication skills essential
- Ability to independently perform routine and complex X-ray exams including portable, trauma, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
